It’s been a while since I’ve posted and to you, my loyal reader, I apologize. Work has been overly hectic and things became rather tenuous with the sudden departure of my boss. I was completely caught off guard by the turn of events, as was everyone else in engineering. My boss, the VP of engineering was, by far and away, the best boss I’ve ever had the pleasure of working for and with. He was a great leader and mentor, and taught me so much in the 18 months we worked together. Thankfully, I work for a small company and those of us in engineering have been assured that we will have a strong say in who our new boss will be.
I plan on contacting the power-that-be at a couple of vendors to line up some new stuff to review this week, so you should be seeing some review starting to pop up in the coming weeks. Remember, patience is a virtue. Don’t give up on me yet!
