Jeff,<br>just found your blog and love it!. With the weldments we have an issue here at my company and that is the BOM only sees the weldment as once piece and I have learned that 2009 takes care of that problem. Until we finally get 2009 we have been using the weldments much as you would the routing ( we can never get our routing to turn on due to a seat issue) I have built a library of mechanical tubing profiles for the weldments and use it to run the tubing. This works great for us since it will list in the BOM as one item anyway when we call it out. In addition we now use the weldment cutlist for the tubing lengths and it works fantastic.

They are great... or i should say, were. This is yet another part of SW that seems to be seriously getting rejected when it comes to enhancments in both useabilty and features/depth. Even though its great what you can do and how fast you can do it... It could be so much better...
