Why can't SWX give away some free passes to the event without having to write 300 word essays or being an event reporter? Or better yet, SWX has a big drawing for an all-expense paid trip for a SWX user who has never been to the World and doesn't have their own SWX blog or website?

In years past, they have. Generally, in the months leading up to SWW, there will be free passes given out at user group meetings; no blog or essay required. Passes are also given out at the SWUGN summits. I’m not sure if that’s happening this year or not.
