The way I see, it makes me look like a genius compared to them when I show up with an uncluttered screen singing the praises of the "s" key. What really torques me off is when I have to help one of the toolbar Neanderthals with modeling on their machines. It takes forever to figure anything out, and they still complain that I'm going too fast. Ugh... It doesn’t bother me too much if people want to clutter up their brains with toolbars. Like Brian, I'm an S key and keyboard shortcut junkie. Trying to use gestures, but just not seeming to like it fully yet with it's fancy dissappeariing oh wait not that one method. So, back to your question. I see it alot with users that are more casual users of SolidWorks. They just take the default settings, and don't go any deeper. I find that while presenting a topic at a user group or in front on a class, using these tools make some eyebrows pop up.
